The Fear ½, 1/6 and 6 packs 9.0%ABV
We brewed The Fear with a local pumpkin puree and secret blend of spices. But once you take a sniff and a sip, those spices become quite apparent. (Hint: Think pumpkin pie.) Anything seasonally spicy or sweet will beautifully complement this rich and complex brew.
Gourd Standard 6 packs 6.7%ABV
An IPA brewed with Pumpkin and spices. Pairs well with nutty and semi-sweet cheeses like Gouda and Gruyere, roasted sweet potatoes or butternut squash, pork with sweet glazes…and Mom’s pumpkin pie.
Fluxus 1/6 kegs and 25oz
2014 Fluxus is a bier de miel brewed with a blend of 2-row and Vienna malts, spruce tips and honey. It was hopped with Hallertau and was fermented with the Allagash house yeast. The resulting beer is pale yellow in color with honey and spruce notes throughout the flavor and aroma. The honey and spruce strike a balance that allow both to express themselves, while a pleasant malt character keeps either from taking over. The finish of this medium bodied ale is long and warming. This beer was a collaboration project between Allagash controller and Master Beekeeper, Erin Forbes and Allagash lab and sensory guru Karl Arnberg.
Four 25oz 10%ABV
We brew this beer with four malts, four sugars, four hop varieties and we ferment it four times, using four different yeast strains. The complexity of the brewing process is matched by the complexity of this unique beer. Flavors of raisin, candied fruit and plum express themselves throughout.
Kentucky Pumpkin Barrel Ale ½, 1/6 kegs and 4 packs
A barrel-aged ale brewed with Kentucky-sourced pumpkin, richly spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. As the ale is aged in fresh bourbon barrels, the sweetness of caramel and vanilla are imparted upon the brew and complement its spicier base. At 10 percent alcohol by volume (ABV), this robust, limited release seasonal makes for a flavorful sipping beer to slowly warm up with as the weather cools.
Cherry Chipotle Mead 375ml 14% ABV
The sweet matches the heat in this brilliant wine with a kick. We started with Michigan wildflower honey and a ton of Michigan cherry juice. Once fermented, we added a lion’s share of red chipotle peppers to give it a smoky character and medium spice level. A fantastic wine for dessert. Try pairing this with rich chocolate cake.
Green Bullet 1/6 kegs and 4 packs 10.1%ABV
With the aim of finding new and unique ingredients, we honed in on New Zealand grown Pacific Gem and Green Bullet hops to create this adventurous Triple IPA. Green Bullet leaps onto your palate with bold, spicy pine and citrus flavors including tropical notes of mango and pineapple. The aggressive yet well-balanced finish will stun the senses of even the most skilled hop hunter.
Natura Morta with Plum 1/6 kegs and 750ml 5.5%ABV
Natura Morta Plum begins as a Belgian-style Saison fermented in foudres with Brettanomyces, then is aged in red wine barrels with Italian plum puree. After six months, a pink hued ale emerges. Elegant and flavorful, it renders notes of tart plum, rosewater and almond, balanced by barrel-drawn tannins and a refined dry finish.

Wick for Brains Pumpkin Ale 1/6, ½ kegs and 6 pack Cans 6.1%ABV
Wick for Brains is our classic and painstakingly produced Fall Pumpkin Ale. Instead of simply using spice, we use real pumpkin which lends a sweetness and pumpkin flavor not found in many Pumpkin Ales. Wonderful pumpkin pie spice intertwined in an Amber Ale creates a pumpkin sensation which is elegantly crafted. Notes of Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Clove, Ginger and Allspice blend perfectly in this seasonal Ale. There are many Pumpkin Ales out there crafted by some wonderful breweries – we feel that ours stands among them and in some cases – stands apart.
Barrel Aged Hop Anomaly 25oz 10.8%ABV
An artful creation which began with our HopAnomaly Belgian-Style IPA, enhanced by a 6 month maturation in French Oak Chardonnay Barrels. This version of Hop God is a fascinating, big, bold Belgian-style Tripel hopped in very high amounts to concentrate citrus, grapefruit and floral aromatics in the nose. The addition of Chardonnay barrel aging adds further dimension and oak tannins to an already wonderfully complex Ale – bringing to mind tropical fruits and peach. We know of nothing that compares – enjoy!
Dunks Ferry Dunkelweizen 1/6, ½ kegs and 22oz 5.2%ABV
We stay with the German wheat beer theme for our Fall seasonal, and much like it’s Summertime sister, Dunks Ferry Dunkelweizen has a unique banana and spicy clove character but this time paired with a chewy, bready (dare we say banana bread) malt backbone. Again, we hop this German wheat beer with Hallertau and Tettnanger hops. 5.2% ABV.

Our Bourbon barrel-aged version of Santa’s Little Helper, this Imperial Stout begins the journey with flavors of sweet Bourbon and oak, continues with hints of nutty dark chocolate and malt and finishes with a smoky coffee finish. A perfect beer to leave for the Jolly Old Fat Man instead of milk and cookies.
Maple Mistress 1/6 kegs and 4 packs 9.8%ABV
In the autumn of 1720, Captain Jack Rachman and his pirate-mates were celebrating their victories in typical hard-drinking tradition. Suddenly a British Navy sloop surprised them. The drunken pirates hid below deck, leaving Captain Jack’s mistresses Anne Bonney and Mary Read to defend the ship. The women shared a reputation as “fierce hell cats,” but the British Navy eventually overtook the pirate ship. Captain Jack and the pirates were sentenced to hang. Anne visited her lover in his cell before his execution, and instead of loving words her scathing comments live on throughout history, “Had you fought like a man, you need not have been hang’d like a dog.” Their legacy inspired us to brew an equally ferocious Imperial Pumpkin Ale brewed with pirate rum spices. We added a touch of autumn flavor with roasted butternut squash and natural maple syrup.

This traditional Oktoberfest beer celebrates the arrival of Fall. It is a medium-bodied, smooth and malty brew made with German Vienna malts and German hops.
Bourbon Barrel Aged Arrogant Bastard 1/6 kegs and 6 packs 7.8%ABV
Arrogant Bastard Ale is one beast of a beer you don’t want to mess with—unless you know what you’re doing. We do. Like OAKED Arrogant Bastard Ale, Bourbon Barrel-Aged Arrogant Bastard Ale introduces another dimension to a brew of already intense character. It’s a blend of barrel-aged and non-barrel-aged beer, which prevents the bourbon from dominating and allows the complementary oak and vanilla notes to cleanly register their presence. We see this bourbon-influenced refinement as a pure natural progression. Bourbon Barrel- Aged Arrogant Bastard Ale—it’s quite refined, unlike you.
Ales for ALS
Weyerbacher’s 2015 Ales for ALS offering is a 7.8% ABV medium bodied IPA made with a variety of experimental hops and 40% Equinox hops. Most of the hops were used post boil and in the fermenter as dry hops, giving this brew a very fragrant aroma and big hop flavor. The aroma is floral and fruity with notes of pineapple, citrus and coconut. The hop flavor overwhelms the mild malt character with a spicy, herbal quality finished with strong citrus and fruit notes that linger cleanly after each sip. Weyerbacher has pledged to donate $1 from every pint sold to Ales for ALS.
