Phillipsburg, NJ – August 23, 2011 – Three new artisan products will be added to Hunterdon Distributor’s small, but growing line of micro-distilled spirits, sakes and meads. The company has recently signed a distribution agreement with Finger Lakes Distilling Company and will be launching their McKenzie Bourbon Whiskey, Rye Whiskey and Glen Thunder Corn Whiskey into the market by September 2011.
Finger Lakes Distilling Company was founded in 2009 by Brian McKenzie and Thomas Earl McKenzie in Burdett, New York. Their tasting room and distillery, complete with a 4,000 pound copper pot still from Germany, overlooks beautiful Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes wine region. Local raw ingredients are used whenever possible to produce their exceptional line of small-batch spirits that includes whiskey, gin, vodka, brandy, grappa and liqueurs. Their spirits and cocktail recipes have been mentioned in local and national publications including the New York Times, New York Magazine, Food & Wine, Martha Stewart Living and the Wall Street Journal. In addition to New Jersey, Finger Lake’s products can currently be found in New York State, Chicago, and Pennsylvania.
Hunterdon is proud to be representing Finger Lakes Distilling Company for the state of New Jersey and looks forward to educating consumers and retailers about their products in the months ahead.
