HI-RES 6/4/12 Cans, 50 L, & 1/6 kegs
To see the hop cone up close, we zoomed in microscopic, and found a hi-res view. In Hi-Resolution, the hop optic was magnified; our perception, fully amplified. It’s microscopic. It’s telescopic. It’s off-topic. It’s Mad Science. ABV: 10.5%

Baxter’s flagship Stowaway India Pale Ale put Maine on the IPA map in 2011 and there’s been no looking back. Double-dry-hopped with close to 500 pounds of hops per batch, Stowaway’s bitter character is of course enticing for any veteran hop head. BUT, the solid malt backbone makes this beer approachable enough and drinkable enough for any beer drinker to tackle, even with its don’t-mess-with-me 7% ABV.

Pamola pale ale-Stowaway IPA- Tarnation Lager- Per Diem Porter

This 2015 Great American Beer Festival Silver Medal winner is one of Baxter Brewing’s most-sought-after beers. When the weather ’round here is still grey and dreary, one sip of Window Seat immediately immerses you in a 12oz vacation. Truly a labor of love, each batch of this beer features an addition of more than 1,600 pounds of real toasted coconut flakes and 800 pounds of almond; giving this porter a round, complex but still drinkable and satisfying flavor unlike any other in the Baxter portfolio.

MOONLESS 1/6 kegs
“We’re pleased to announce the upcoming release of Moonless Night, our deceptive India Black Ale. Moonless Night was brewed with Midnight Wheat and Rye, and cold-steeped for several days on Ethiopian Wazzala coffee beans from Ceremony Roasters in Annapolis, MD. This imparted a tremendous character of citrus and soft acidity to the beer. We then dry-hopped Moonless Night at 150% our normal rate with Mosaic, Ekuanot, and Amarillo hops. It pours black-as-midnight-on-a-moonless-night, so call it what you will— Black IPA, Cascadian Dark Ale, India Black Ale—it doesn’t matter: the explosive, layered flavors and aromas of deep tropical citrus and resinous hop character do not judge!”

The only precedent for our Brewhouse Rarities series of small-batch releases lies in the immortal words of the Good Doctor Hunter S. Thompson: “Too weird to live, too rare to die.”ABV: 8.2%

Choosing from the most rare and interesting varieties, our genius team of brewers is releasing four Single Hop Imperial IPAs in 2017. Like a delicious science experiment, each has the same grist bill to highlight the individual hop variety. ABV: 8.0%

MEAN OLD TOM 12/16 & 1/6 kegs
This American stout is named for David and Dan’s Uncle Tom, who — when the boys were young and impressionable — showed them what it meant to be a tough guy growing up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, in the 1970s, driving his Trans Am fast, rocking out to Kiss and scavenging empty beer cans in ditches. Aged on vanilla beans, it also delivers notes of coffee and dark chocolate. The silky mouth feel comes from flaked oats. Even Tom’s gotta smile at this one. ABV: 6.5%

ZOE 1/6 kegs
David’s daughter, Zoe, is the happy soul who inspired this American amber ale. Zoe was born in the Year of the Monkey, and likewise her namesake beer does not sit still on your palate with its complex malt blend that delivers hints of dark raisin, chocolate and biscuit, plus pine and citrus notes that come from copious amounts of American hops. It’s a happy, hoppy beer! ABV: 7.2%

PEEPER 12/16
We wanted to find a better way. We wanted to do things right. We wanted a delicious beer you could drink all day. And the frigid Maine winter wasn’t going to keep us out of our garage until we had all three. We first had the idea for Peeper in 2006, and officially released it in 2009. This American ale is dry, clean and well balanced with a generous dose of American hops. While we love all our beers, Peeper will always be our firstborn. ABV: 5.5%

Stouts are sturdy. Resolute. Substantial. Roasted malts and barley lend luscious darkness and depth to the smooth full-bodied style. And thanks to their fortifying nutrients, we crave stouts in the colder months when our bodies need warming, our bellies long for nourishment and our palates thirst to be invigorated. Vanilla Milk Stout/ Toasted Coconut Almond/ Mexican Style Chocolate Stout/Coffee Stout.

A classic American stout aged in bourbon barrels and loaded with complex, hearty flavors. Imperial in stature, with a solid dose of perfect coffee toddy for an unyielding presence, this beer is sure to create a buzz. Impenetrably dark in appearance, full-bodied, and packed with sweet, rich malty flavors.

MEGAWHEAT DOUBLE IPA 22oz, ½, & 1/6 kegs
Kick back and crank it up as we’ve done all the brewing…the we being us and the special guest appearances of two heavy hitters in the indie craft beer industry: New Mexico’s Marble and Colorado’s Odell. Credited with 58 years of brewing chops, our trio built their wheat ale foundation on the classic “C” hops. Then, we rocked a pure hop triad of “M” hops to achieve a supercharged succession of orange, tangerine, lemon, lime, spice and dankness. The undulating riffs of Motueka, Mosaic and Mandarina Bavaria hops slash through the wheat haze with equal footing, never playing over one another. The cacophony of flavor is what fans would expect with a name like Megawheat. So join us as we forge ahead on a path that directly leads to the main stage…and then off the front of it, into the crowd! ABV:8.4%

RIPPER ½ kegs
When it came to creating Ripper, we drew inspiration from the coastal surf cultures of SoCal and Oz. Sourcing classic Cascade from the Pacific Northwest and Australian Galaxy hops from…yes…Australia, we made a beer both lovers of frothy peaks and hoppy green buds will be stoked about. At the same time, we stayed true to our San Diego roots by pushing the hop boundaries of this style. While some might think it lingers on an edge far closer to an IPA, with all the dry-hop flavor and aroma, it’s actually right in line with the current-day interpretation of a West Coast pale. Ours just so happens to have an Aussie accent that’s cascading with a juicy amount of grapefruit and passion fruit hoppiness. So veg out or venture out. Either way, rip one open and taste this awesome golden nectar! ABV:5.7%

CITRA PALE ½ & 1/6 kegs
Hazy, blonde, well balanced American pale ale brewed and dry hopped with massive amounts of Citra hops. A perfect display of citrus and tropical fruit. Hoppy goodness accompanied with piney, grassy and resinous flavors. Crisp and crushable. ABV: 6.2%

GRASSCATCH ½ & 1/6 kegs
Classic West Coast style “throwback” IPA is aggressively hopped (100+ IBU’s) with Columbus, Chinook, Centennial, and Simcoe. Deep copper color with a hint of haziness. Crisp and dry with layers of floral, citrus, and pine with a subtle dankness and lingering hop bitterness. Well balanced for an ” over the top” IPA! ABV: 7.2%

DRUPE IPA ½ & 1/6 kegs
Latin for stone fruit, Drupe India Pale Ale is brewed with Mosaic, Amarillo, Centennial, and Citra. Rich amber color, crisp and clear, with flavors of Mango, Peach, and Plum. ABV: 6.2%

NUGGET NECTAR 6 pack bottles and cans, ½, & 1/6 kegs
It’s impossible to forget your first squeeze. Once a year, as the newest humulus lupulus harvest arrives at Tröegs, we blend these super-fresh hops into an Imperial Amber Ale. Excessively dry-hopped, Nugget Nectar is an explosion of pine, resin and mango. ABV: 7.5%
