New Releases — 08 October 2015

Fireside Chat 7.9% ABV – 1/2, 1/6 kegs and 6 pack cans
Fireside Chat is our early winter seasonal brew available from October through December in six pack cans and on draft. Brewed like a classic, warming Strong Ale but with a subtle blend of hand-selected spices for just the right festive flair.

The Reverend 10% ABV – 1/6 ans 22oz
Our brewers included as many authentic imported Belgian specialty malts as they could, making this the perfect beer for folks who love malty beers and are ready to take the next step. A divinely complex and beautifully layered beer with hints of dark cherries, currants, and molasses, complemented by an underlying spiciness. Sinfully smooth considering the high alcohol content. –

Rumpkin 18% ABV – 1/6 kegs and 12oz
We wondered what would happen if a monstrous pumpkin ale, plump full of spicy gourdiness, were aged in fine fresh rum barrels to add suggestions of delicate oak and candied molasses. Rumpkin is what happened! This first member of the Annual Barrel-Aged Series was brewed with roasted pumpkins from a local Boulder County farm, and spiced with nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger. –

Lilko’I Kepolo 5.4% ABV 4 pack cans
Luscious. Juicy. Tart. And like no other! Adding a tropical island flair to a spicy traditional witbier, Liliko’i Kepolo erupt with monumental passionfruit aroma and acidity along with a sublimely succulent finish.

Tasters Select Variety Pack 4 pack 16oz cans
One can each of Glutenberg Blonde, Glutenberg American Pale Ale, Glutenberg Red and Glutenberg India Pale Ale.

Dementia 6.5% ABV 1/2 and 1/6 kegs
If her bigger sibling is too much for you to handle, perhaps Dementia will be just what you’re looking for. We’ve packed all the intense west coast hop flavor of our Double IPA into a lighter, more drinkable India Pale Ale. Be forewarned, drinking twice as much of this beer will get you into just as much trouble

Double Dementia 8.5% ABV 1/2 and 1/6 kegs
Reserved for the most infernal of palates, Double Dementia is a sinful collection of classic west coast hops blended with malts the color of hellfire. Just the right amount of bitter, followed by an explosion of juicy citrus flavor blended with bright floral aromas. Drinking easier than any Imperial IPA should, this beer is evil… that’s what we love about it.

Scarlet Knight 5.8% ABV 1/2 and 1/6 kgs
Sailor take warning: Whether our neck of the Raritan River is where you live or work, play or study of this we’re certain… Scarlet Night is a beer everyone can enjoy. Our American Red Ale is a liquid tribute to all that we love about Middlesex, the Hub City, and being local. A blend of five different malts gives this brew intense red color and complexity, a medium body with light caramel sweetness and a feint roast finish. Just enough hops balance it out with a slight bitterness and great flavor that trails into an earthy floral nose. Red sky at night… a beer drinker’s delight.

Falliage 5.8% ABV 1/6 kegs
Falliage (like foliage) is a highly aromatic Belgian Saison brewed with Vienna and Caramel malts, piquant noble hops, and our brewer’s own blend of Chai Spices including ginger, cinnamon, and allspice. Our house Farmhouse yeast blend is used to ferment Falliage, and lends subtle notes of black pepper, dark fruits, ginger and cloves which mingle well with the caramel malt and Chai spice flavors.
Falliage was designed as an intriguing alternative to the common pumpkin spice beers that cover the shelves in Autumn, and with it we seek to expand your perception of everything you thought a fall beer could be.
Think “pecan pie while drinking a Saison Dupont”…
Tasting notes ABV- 5.8 IBU’s – 31 -Warming aromas of Chai latte, candied ginger, fresh ground peppercorn, and pecan pie. -Flavors of mexican vanilla, cinnamon, ginger and allspice mingle with expressive and peppery yeasty notes while smooth malt and herbal hops linger. -Deceivingly dry mouthfeel, with a lingering yet mild spicy sweetness hanging around in this wonderfully balanced beer .

Big A IPA 8.2% ABV 1/2, 1/6 kegs and 4 packs
Brewed in very small quantities, it has also been one of the hardest-to-find. Until now. That’s right – Beginning in October, 2015 – Big A IPA is now a year-round, full-time beer! We’ll be brewing it more frequently and in smaller batch sizes to keep it as fresh as possible. Big A IPA has everything you’d want in a double India Pale Ale, only more: more hops, more malt & more flavor. Na zdrowie!

24 Carrot Ale  9.5% ABV 1/2, 1/6 kegs and 22 oz
2015 marked the seventh year of our American Homebrewers Association-sanctioned Stone Homebrew Competition. Juli Goldenberg, this year’s winner, added carrots, raisins, cinnamon and more to a Belgian-style golden strong ale to create a beer that is the liquid embodiment of carrot cake. As the name implies, this beer is richly aromatic and envelopes the palate with decadent flavors of cream cheese frosting, cinnamon, vanilla, carrots and raisins plus subtle malt sweetness, ending with a medium-dry finish. It’s nothing short of brilliant and well deserving of the 24 karat (carrot?) golden opportunity to be brewed by Stone and distributed across the country.

Double IPA Project
We have a new IPA series that will give IPA fans 4 new IPAs each year! Simply called IPA or Double IPA, this revolving small batch series is a great way for people to enjoy the freshest Weyerbacher IPA! Each new recipe will feature different hops that we’ve carefully selected. Double IPA will release in the fall and winter, while IPA will release in the spring and summer.
Double IPA #1  9% ABV 1/2, 1/6 kegs and 4 packs
Our first release, Double IPA #1, is full of Cascade, Simcoe and Mosaic hops. Weighing in at 9% ABV, this brew has a piney and herbal aroma. Tropical fruit and berry mesh with citrus notes to create a well-rounded profile that is both complex and refreshing. Available in 12 oz. bottles and on draught throughout our distribution area beginning in October.
