HAZYISH IPA: 4/6C cases

A juicy and hazy India Pale Ale with low bitterness, an expressive aroma of four different hop varieties, and a creamy mouthfeel. We wouldn’t be Avery Brewing if we didn’t put our own stamp on the juicy and hazy IPA style. We took all that is great in a hazy IPA; low bitterness paired with the powerful and juicy aroma of hops, and the silky sensation of the liquid, but brewed for excellent shelf stability and consistency from batch to batch. ABV: 7.0%

BEAR HUG: 1/4 kegs

Brewed with a careful selection of caramel and roasted malts, the end result is a moderate, smooth roasted maltiness that is warming and gentle, but still firm. Bear Hug showcases hop aromas in an Imperial Stout without being overly bitter. ABV: 9.5%

HOPSLAM ALE: 4/6C cases | 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

Starting with six different hop varietals added to the brew kettle & culminating with a massive dry-hop addition of Simcoe hops, Bell’s Hopslam Ale possesses the most complex hopping schedule in the Bell’s repertoire. Selected specifically because of their aromatic qualities, these Pacific Northwest varieties contribute a pungent blend of grapefruit, stone fruit and floral notes. A generous malt bill and a solid dollop of honey provide just enough body to keep the balance in check, resulting in a remarkably drinkable rendition of the Double India Pale Ale style. ABV: 10.0%

JUGGERNAUT: 4/6C cases

Juggernaut is a citrus-forward, bone-dry American IPA. Pithy grapefruit takes front and center, driving the huge dry-hop profile, supported with notes of peach and apricot. WHITE OAK JAI ALAI: 6/4C cases | 1/6 kegs

A truly unique India Pale Ale, this iteration of our Jai Alai IPA boasts the addition of white oak spirals to impart sleek notes of vanilla, coconut and a touch of dill to Jai Alai’s bold citrus and caramel character.  The oak also serves to temper the bitterness in the 70 IBU base beer while oak tannins elegantly dry the beer’s body to create a unique drinking experience that still remains true to Jai Alai’s unique qualities. ABV: 7.5%

TOCOBAGA: 4/6C cases

The Tocobaga people lived off the bounty of Tampa Bay hundreds of years before the arrival of the Spanish in the 1500’s. They were potters, tool makers and the only Florida natives to grow maize. ABV: 7.2%

MUDBANK MILK STOUT: 6/4C cases | 1/6 | 1/2 kegs

Our Winter stout offering is brewed with a hefty amount of 2-Row barley, as well as Victory, Munich, and Carapils malt. We round it out with some lactose sugar and flaked oats for sweetness and body. While the hops in this beer certainly don’t play a central role, we balance all that malt with a good dose of East Kent Goldings, Fuggles, and Wilamette hops. ABV: 6.5%

NORTHEAST IPA: 6/4C cases | 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

The Northeast IPA is a fresh, unfiltered beer that uses a revolutionary way to coax flavor from its hops. Schlafly uses both a kettle boil for subtle bitterness, and employs the exciting process of fermented dry-hopping, creating a brilliant, heady beer that’s sure to arrest the senses of any IPA drinker. As hazy as a squall off the coast, this beer captivates the tongue with a fruity and malty profile. ABV: 8.0%

DOUBLE BEAN BLONDE: 4/6 cases | 1/6 kegs | 50L kegs

Darkness and romance lurk beneath the golden exterior of this ale that combines the prominent flavors and aromas of coffee and the smooth richness of chocolate. We use simple, straightforward malts and hops to keep the focus on the notable characteristics of the featured ingredients. After the beer is fermented, we let it rest on cocoa nibs sourced from Ghana—one of the world’s largest chocolate exporters. In the final stage of production we add a cold coffee toddy made from filtered water and finely ground beans roasted by St. Louis’ own Kaldi’s Coffee and sourced directly from the Shiwanda Estate in Africa’s southeastern Tanzania. ABV: 6.3%

DABBLE IPA: 4/6C cases | 1/6 kegs | 50L kegs

There’s nothing quite like your first taste. Hop farmers are breeding insane new flavors—one sip and you’ll be hooked. To truly harness these new flavors though, you’ve got to dabble a bit and test them out. The new hop blend blew our minds, so for DABBLE, we’re taking our experiment full scale with massive loads of hops so everyone can experience it. Sabro provides an incredible coconut note, Cashmere brings a soft, delicate complexity, and Idaho 7 brings potency and depth. Dip a toe in—dare to DABBLE. ABV: 8.2%

TASTY IPA: 1/2 kegs

Curious minds are a beautiful thing and who better to take a cue from than Benjamin Franklin? Much like he discovered electricity by boldly flying a kite in a thunderstorm, we were struck with a great idea of our own – let’s take one of our favorite home-brew recipes and turn it into a standout, gold colored American IPA that we call Tasty IPA. Crack open a can and enjoy bright fresh flavors and aromas of hops, tropical stone fruits, pine and a hint of spiciness. Mr. Franklin once said, “well done is better than well said,” and this beer is sure to prove that theory. ABV: 6.8%

TURBO DOG: 4/6 cases

Turbodog® is a dark brown ale brewed with pale, caramel, and chocolate malts and Willamette hops. This combination gives Turbodog® its rich body and color and a sweet chocolate, toffee-like flavor. Turbodog® began as a specialty ale, but has gained a huge, loyal following and has become one of our flagship brews. This ale pairs well with most meats and is great served with hamburgers or sausages. It is a good match with smoked fish and can even stand up to wild-game dishes. Turbodog® is also great for marinating and braising meats and cooking such things as cabbage and greens. Colby, Gloucester, Cheddar and blue cheeses go nicely with Turbodog®. It’s perfect with spicy Louisiana jambalaya or Spanish paella. Some even like it paired with chocolate! ABV: 5.6%

BOCK: 4/6 cases | 1/4 kegs

Mardi Gras Bock is the first of our seasonal brews. Abita Mardi Gras Bock is brewed with pale, pilsner and caramel malts and German Perle hops. Great with roasted beef or pork. Try it with Mexican food, too. ABV: 6.5%

BLACK NOTE: 6/4 cases

One of the most sought-after stouts in Bell’s history, Black Note Stout blends the complex aromatics of Expedition Stout with the velvety smooth texture of Double Cream Stout, each aged in freshly retired oak bourbon barrels for months. ABV: 11.2%

BOURBON STOUT: 6/4 | 1/6

The brewery’s most highly sought after beer, this imperial stout is aged to perfection in oak bourbon barrels. Look for this tasty treat to contain hints of bourbon and vanilla with roasted over tones that is sure to please any palate.

Sweet, roasty and always invigorating, traditional Latin American cafe con leche coffee can be found nearly everywhere in our hometown of Tampa, Florida and serves as the inspiration for our Cafe Con Leche Sweet Stout.  The beer is made with bold, strong coffee beans to emulate the most characterful Cuban espresso and lactose, a milk sugar that adds sweetness, body and flavors reminscent of scalded milk.  Despite it’s assertive flavors and full body, our sweet stout is deceptively low in alcohol, making it the perfect accompaniment to a late-morning plate of eggs, bacon and tostatas. ABV: 6.0%

AMERICAN BEAUTY: 4/6 cases | 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

American Beauty, a pale ale inspired by the Grateful Dead, captures the spirit of the band’s 30 years of touring and recording. Dogfish Head and the Dead both built their followings by connecting directly with beer lovers and music lovers, so when we first started this collaboration (back in 2013), we asked those loyal fans to help drive the recipe. After receiving more than 1,500 ingredient suggestions, granola was tops. It was the main course in millions of parking lot meals and is a sweet and toasty complement to the barley, succulent wildflower honey and all-American hops. ABV: 6.5%

At Eden Specialty Ciders, we use heirloom and tannic cider variety apples—grown locally, sustainably, and for the express purpose of producing cider. We harvest our apples at peak ripeness because that is when the aroma and flavor of the apple also peaks. We press our apples during or soon after harvest, when flavors, sugars and acids are optimal.

We’ve combined the clean, puckering tartness of kettle souring with an abundance of juicy, citrus-driven hops to create a beer that’s the best of both worlds – Tart n’ Juicy Sour® IPA.

SPECTER: 6/4C | 1/2

Specter, our NE Style IPA has a number of very distinct traits that separate it from the rest of our IPAs. It’s smooth, creamy mouthfeel and it’s hazy appearance are by-products of a number of ingredients and process. We used nearly 20% oats in the mash, a chloride-heavy water chemistry, and low flocculating yeast. We aggressively hopped Specter with late boil and whirlpool additions, leaving it with little perceived lingering bitterness, but rather a tropical and juicy finish. If that wasn’t enough, we dry-hopped this beer twice with Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo, and Nelson Sauvin to add aromas of citrus and stone fruits. ABV: 7.1%

We’re strong believers that the only thing better than brewing beer is brewing beer with friends. We worked with our pals at Mahou San Miguel to bring the recipe for Trigo (Spanish for ‘wheat’) to life. They brought their lager-brewing expertise and we brought our hopping expertise. The result is a clean and crisp wheat lager with big, American-hopped aromatics. Salud! ABV: 6.3%

AZACCA: 15C | 4/6C

Named after the Haitian God of agriculture, the Azacca hop has an intense tropical aroma with hints of citrus and mango. A touch of caramel malt gives a sweet backbone to support the righteous fruit character of this beer. Pouring a burnt orange color and registering at 7.0% ABV, your taste buds will worship this heavenly, hopped delight. ABV: 7.0%

CBS: 12/25

CBS was born when we stumbled upon some bourbon barrels that had previously housed maple syrup. We opted to put the same base beer as KBS, an imperialized version of Breakfast Stout, in the maple barrels and, after one taste, we knew we had something special. Rich maple syrup, roasted coffee and velvety chocolate meld together in what can only be described as a transcendental drinking experience.

Old school meets new school in this fresh approach to the classic IPA.  At 50 IBU’s and 6.5% ABV, Breaking Bud features the restrained bitterness and alcohol of a classic IPA with newer tropical fruit hop flavors and aromas of Mosaic.  Also in the hop mix are Simcoe and CTZ, creating layers of mango, passion fruit, pine and dank.  A malt bill with a pinch of crystal malt and a hefty dose of flaked wheat keeps the beer crisp while adding flavor complexity. ABV: 6.5%

ZOE: 12/16

On a rainy fall day in 2009, my five-year-old daughter Zoe and I were wandering the streets in Bar Harbor and stumbled across the Whale Museum. Zoe loved it. It put a smile on her face. Hopefully our ale will do the same for you. Cheers! ABV: 7.2%

“Most people are on the world, not in it –  have no conscious sympathy or relationship to anything about them – undiffused, separate, and rigidly alone like marbles of polished stone, touching but separate.” ABV: 5.5%

Carlsberg Polska have been brewing and exporting O.K. Beer around the world for more than 50 years! This is their cult beer with many different faces and one unique taste. Paying homage to a rather (in)famous surf spot/clothing-optional beach in San Diego, Nelson the Greeter is the newest hoppy offering from Port Brewing. Dark malts, dark Belgian candy sugar, cinnamon and orange peel. ABV: 11.3%

Our tartly refreshing, kettle-soured Stone Berliner Weisse gained its orthodox sour and acidic character from a specially selected Lactobacillus strain sourced from local Berlin cultures. To ensure a properly Stone, and therefore iconoclastic, Berliner Weisse, we upped the ABV to a healthy 4.7% and hopped the beer with new German varieties, Huell Melon and Callista. This beer embodies the liveliness of summer with the fruity tang of apricots and the sweetness of ripe honeydew. ABV: 4.7%

Detailed in a letter from the General to his officers during the war, Washington’s recipe employed molasses to aid fermentation and give rich caramel aroma to this robust, roasty ale. The recipe reflected his admiration for Philadelphia-style porters, especially those brewed by Robert Hare. Our Porter, inspired by Washington’s, is dark, smooth and complex with just a hint of dried fruit in the finish. ABV: 7.0%

There are stouts. And then there’s Chocolate Love Stout. Brewed with over 200 pounds of Belgian dark chocolate, this deep dark beauty will tantalize and seduce you with its roasty maltiness. OFFSEASON .394: 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

Does the end of baseball season get you down? Not sure what the future holds for next season? Neither do we! Our forecast looks to be a little “hazy.” In honor of baseball’s Winter break, our brew team came up with this hazy cousin to our popular San Diego Pale Ale. Similar to the original, Off-Season .394 pays tribute to the city that Hall-of-Famer Tony Gwynn loved and the career-high batting average that he achieved with the Padres in ‘94. This beer showcases an intense hop aroma of tropical fruit and citrus, but delivers a fuller-bodied pour than its predecessor, along with a smooth and creamy finish. ABV: 6.0%

Proudly echoing British brown ales, the Glutenberg Red stands out by the great complexity of its creation and taste. OUTTA LINE: 4/6C cases

At the very core of Rogue is the idea of getting outta line. That is to say you don’t need to follow the plan laid out in front of you, you don’t have to fit in and you don’t have to follow the crowd. We brewed this IPA as a reminder that there is no limit when you have the courage to stand out. Available year round, Outta Line IPA is a bright honey-colored West Coast IPA with an enticing fruit aroma. ABV: 6.9%

BALTIC PORTER: 6/4 cases

Indigenous to northern Europe, Baltic Porters historically stem from the shipping of British porters to the Russian hinterland. ABV: 9.5%

TROPIC OF THUNDER: 4/6C cases | 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

Imagine you set sail for a three hour tour. Let’s say from the Port of Escondido (work with us here). The weather started getting rough. Your tiny ship (but not lunch, thankfully) was tossed. Long story short: You’re marooned on a remote island somewhere near the Tropic of Thunder. The good news is that the Capt. of the S.S. Stone and her brewing kit were among the small cast of colorful characters that survived the rough voyage with you. Mainstays Citra & Mosaic along with newcomer Cashmere hops are joined by their juicy tropical aromas of citrus, pineapple and coconut (try stringing all that together in a catchy tune). The rescue ship will find you all soon enough. For now, set aside the non-working cell phone and lack of social media (again, work with us here), kick back and revel in your moment of tropical island lagoon serenity. ABV: 5.8%

JOLLY PUMPKIN: 1/1.5L bottles

Special golden holiday spiced ale brewed with white sage, caraway, & juniper berries. ABV: 9.5%

OR XATA 2017: 6/4C cases

Horchata is a traditional, sweet, milky drink originating in Spain and Latin America that has become quite popular in Southern California, particularly with Mexican cuisine. Our homage to the traditionally non-alcoholic drink is a blonde ale brewed with a heavy dosing of rice, cinnamon and fresh vanilla beans along with lactose for a little extra creamy character. These ingredients meld together to create a taste and experience that hints at horchata, but it’s much more than that. The flavor is hard to describe, but for those who know it, you know you love it. ABV: 7.1%

BAKED COCONUT: 16C cases | 1/6 kegs

Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels with coconut and natural vanilla flavors added. ABV: 13.0%
