New Releases Slider — 16 August 2018

This is a deep gold color, double IPA (of course) and jammed packed with hop flavors and aromas. With nine different hop varietals, on top of late-kettle boil additions, this beer has a juicy, hop chewy flavor. ABV: 8.0%

BLOOD ORANGE BREW FREE! OR DIE: 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

Blood Orange Brew Free! is brewed like our original west coast style Brew Free! or Die IPA, but with an abundance of fresh blood orange puree and a twist of citrusy dry hops. Refreshingly different. As Abe would say, “Whatever you are, be a good one.” ABV: 7.0%

A TERRIBLE IDEA: 4/6C cases | 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

In  collaboration  with  our  local  Bay  Area  friends  at  Fieldwork  Brewing  (who might  know  a  little  about  hops  in  beers)  we  bring  you  a  hop-forward,  Hazy  IPA . Crack open a can and you’re instantly hit with a floral, dank and piney  aroma. At first sip, you’re lulled into delicate malt clouds, then brace yourself for a  MAMMOTH  dry  hop  charge – 4  pounds  of  hops  per  barrel  to  be  exact (which  is  twice  our  typical  rate!) – and juicy notes of peach, orange, mango and pineapple. ABV: 6.8%

OKTOBERFEST: 4/6C cases | 1/6 kegs

The classic German-style amber lager has been brewed in Germany and Austria for hundreds of years, though it was made famous for being served at Munich’s Oktoberfest celebration since 1872. Modern versions exported to the United States are often labeled Oktoberfest and the name has become synonymous in the minds of most brewers and consumers with the traditional Marzen style, though modern iterations of the style in Europe are considerably lighter. Our take on this classic is characterized by a clean, elegant, and toasty malt character. Prost! ABV: 5.5%

FARM TO FACE: 6/12 cases

Drinking this medium-bodied beer is like biting into a juicy, yet tart, peach. Farm to Face is brewed as a pale ale and then fermented for ten months in stainless tanks with house yeast. After primary fermentation, Pediococcus, Lactobacillus, and a whole lot of peaches are added. Aromas of green apple and graham cracker accompany a lingering peachy finish. ABV: 6.1%

BARREL-AGED PUMPKIN ALE: 6/4 cases | 1/6 kegs

As the ale is aged in fresh bourbon barrels, the sweetness of caramel and vanilla are imparted upon the brew and complement its spicier base. At 10 percent alcohol by volume (ABV), this robust, limited release seasonal makes for a flavorful sipping beer to slowly warm up with as the weather cools. ABV: 10.0%

Heavy notes of citrus on the nose gives the impression of being juicy on the palate. With a bright, floral hop flavor that comes from limited filtration, this cloudy IPA meets in the middle between the two popular IPA styles, and delivers the bitterness you crave. ABV: 5.5%

PORTER: 1/2 kegs

Our award winning Porter bridges the gap between malty brown ales and heavily roasted stouts. Notes of chocolate, coffee and roasted barley are offset with just a slight hop bitterness. Enjoy any time of the year. ABV: 5.6%

VARIETY: 2/12C cases

Variety packs include cans of Punk IPA, Elvis Juice, Hazy Jane, & Clockwork Tangerine.

Clockwork Tangerine first made an appearance last year when it took the crown in our 2017 Prototype Challenge under the pseudonym of ‘Tangerine Session IPA’. A flavour profile that’ll tick all those boxes as we head into the summer months! At 4.5% it’s a standout session beer that packs a juicy citrus hit and mellow tropical notes on a toasty and caramel background. ABV: 4.5%

PUMPKIN CIDER: 12/22 cases

Seasonal availability, 5% ABV, Flavored with cinnamon, cloves and allspice, Tastes like pumpkin pie. ABV: 5.0%

OKTOBERFEST: 4/6C cases | 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

Our Festbier nods firmly toward the style’s history with it’s amber color, bready malt complexity and restrained hop flavor and bitterness. At the heart of this beer is a malt bill of six different German malt varieties, including a generous helping of Munich malt.  After adding Hallertauer Mittlefruh hops we ferment the beer with an authentic Bavarian lager yeast, resulting in a clean, dry and complex lager that’s at once intriguing and drinkable. ABV: 5.8%

90 MINUTE IPA: 4/6 cases

Continual hopping provided a beautiful balance to our Imperial IPA – allowing us to add a foolhardy amount of hops throughout the boil without making 90 Minute crushingly bitter. With rich pine and fruity citrus hop aromas and a strong malt backbone, 90 Minute IPA created pungent, unapologetic flavor that led Esquire to call it “perhaps the best IPA in America.” ABV: 9.0%

Way smooth and silky with a nice wheatly-esque-ish-ness. A truly unique style featuring a strong hop finish on a silky body. A hoppy pale wheat ale that is great for IPA fans but so smooth that the hefeweizen fans dig it too. ABV: 7.5%

OKTOBERFEST: 4/6C cases | 1/6 kegs

Seven different malts, three varieties of hops and Bavarian lager yeast, go into making the best craft-brewed Oktoberfest. With deep copper coloring, rich, full body and lingering malt sweetness, our Lancaster Oktoberfest delivers an incredible Lager experience. ABV: 5.5%

Just like the Alhambra, you need time and peace to really discover this beer… Because this reddish liquid has unexpected features and traits. It’s intensity conceals extraordinary subtlety and delicacy. A reinterpretation of Central European tradition based on the unique Spanish character, with a perfect balance between the intensity of roasted barley malt and the subtlety of oats. ABV: 7.2%

LUNCH: 12/16 cases | 1/6 kegs

Lunch is a special whale that has been spotted off the Maine coast since 1982. She has what looks like a bite taken out of her fin, which adds to her unique character. We dedicate this beer to her determination and persistence. Keep on swimming! ABV: 7.0%

PEEPER: 1/6 kegs

After a few years of home brewing in our garage, my brother and I decided we should open a brewery so that we could share our beer. In 2009 we started with a one barrel system and worked on a single recipe, over and over, until Peeper was born. And now we have enough to share. Cheers! ABV: 5.5%

ANOTHER ONE: 1/6 kegs

When we expanded our brewery in 2013, the stress was something, to say the least. I ran out of creative juice for a minute so I decided to have another one for inspiration. ABV: 7.0%

CHERRY BERLINER WEISSE: 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

German-Style Summer Ale Conditioned on Tart Cherry Juice from King Orchards of Michigan. Refreshing and tart with a balanced Cherry and cracker-like malt backbone, simple yet well defined, we’ve never brewed a beer this perfect for the Summer before, and we hope you agree. ABV: 3.5%

BLUEBERRY GOSE: 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

Tart German-style ale brewed with coriander, sea salt, and New Jersey Blueberry honey then conditioned on 750 pounds of New Jersey Blueberries. A complex and crushable Summertime treat that’s both sweet, and slightly salty, bright, tart, and with an almost blueberry Champagne quality. The farm fresh blueberries lend a farmhouse quality as well that’s constantly evolving in the cans and kegs as well. ABV: 3.0%

GALAXY & COMET: 6/4C  cases

Always curious to find out what happens when worlds collide, we combined a slice of rustic Americana with a rising star from Down Under. Galaxy hops, grown exclusively in Australia and revered for their clean, bright aromas, lend notes of passion fruit, citrus, and peach. Comet, a descendent of a North American original, packs a wildly bitter punch with an invigorating blend of grapefruit, lemon, and orange flavors. ABV: 8.0%

HOP 15: 12/19C cases | 1/6 kegs

With more citrus character than a farmer’s market, Hop-15 is bursting with notes of tropical and stone fruits. Bolstered by a spicy hop finish, this Imperial IPA has always wowed the crowd and judges alike. ABV: 11.0%

WIPEOUT: 12/22 cases | 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

Our version of a West Coast India Pale Ale brewed in the San Diego style, Wipeout gets its attitude and flavor from Amarillo, Centennial, Cascade, and CTZ hop varietals. ABV: 7.0%

HIGH TIDE: 6/4C cases

A citrusy IPA drenched in notes of tangerine and stone fruit from the judicious amounts of Simcoe and Amarillo hops, finishing with a crisp hop bite and a smooth piney finish. ABV: 6.2%

FARMHOUSE LAGER: 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

Farmhouse Lager is a lighter version of our long-time brew, Avant Garde. It is our first foray into the 12oz bottle/six-pack world, as we have been mostly known for large format (750ml bottles). Still beginning with an initial malt sweetness and a subtle hop presence, this lager finishes smooth and crisp. Perfect for an evening out on your porch or with some fresh baked bread pulled straight from the oven. ABV: 5.8%

JUICED: 6/4C cases | 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

This New England style IPA tops the list as our most dry-hopped beer with 3 lbs of Citra and Lemondrop hops per barrel. What you’re left with is our hazy, juicy IPA, with a lemony-citrus sweetness up front, rounded out by a dry finish.  ABV: 8.5%

HIPP-O-LANTERN: 4/6 cases | 1/6 kegs | 1/2 kegs

Ale brewed with pumpkin, molasses, and a variety of hand-crushed, whole spices set up an impressive aroma and well balanced taste. Available August – October. ABV: 8.5%

A massive double IPA you won’t walk away from. This big, double IPA delivers massive fruit hop flavor & aromas balanced by a solid malt character. Once you bust it open, you won’t be able to walk away from this brew. ABV: 10.1%

STEEP: 6/4C cases

A pale ale brewed to perfect balance with a blend of teas. New York City can be tough to navigate. Congested sidewalks. Crowded subway platforms. City traffic. But when you step into the right lane in life, all that noise just moves aside. With that in mind, we brewed this pale ale with a blend of 3 different teas, giving it a ligthly balanced, earthy herbal taste that’s just right on the palate. So whatever’s in your way should just Steep Aside. ABV: 5.7%

People can’t seem to get enough haze in their beers these days. And we get it. The juicy flavor and opaque body deliver as smooth a drinking experience as their is. The World’s Gone Hazy and there’s nothing you can do about it – except try our new Northeast IPA – it’s everything you want from the styles and much more. Enjoy! ABV: 7.0%

BUILT FOR THIS: 6/4C cases

A cloudy, juicy IPA with lots of tropical fruit flavor. One thing the Bronx isn’t short on is toughness. Its strong work ethic and no-nonsense attitude is why we chose to brew our beer here. And in the spirit of the character of the Bronx, we created this tough as nails, Northeast IPA. Full bodied, hazy with tastes of orange, mango, and pineapple, it’s a brew made big & bold like the borough that inspired it. ABV: 7.0%

ORCHARD WIT: 1/2 kegs

This is how a beer from our backyard in Orange County should taste: refreshing, crisp and original. Orchard Wit is a tart wheat beer, brewed with orange zest and coriander, and aged in an oak foeder for several months. It’s designed to showcase the culture of our farmhouse-style brewery through maturation in oak and fermentation with several yeast strains, namely Bavarian Wit, Belgian Wit and French Saison yeast, and our house souring culture. It’s a combination that’s fresh with subtle complexity, balancing the classic, spiced and fruity characteristics of a Belgian-style wit with the soft – and wild – touch from oak. ABV: 5.7%

MISCHEIF: 6/4C cases | 1/2 kegs

Mischief is a hoppy Belgian-style golden ale. This wickedly good golden ale is fiendishly dry-hopped with American hops to add a layer of complexity and mystery to its fruity, dry Belgian-style character. Citrus and resin diabolically combine with ripe melon, pear and slight peppery spice in a precariously effervescent mixture. Enjoy it, but you’ll want to keep an eye out. Gold Medal – 2016 Great American Beer Festival, American-Belgo-Style Ale. ABV: 8.5%

We’re totally Frucht around here. In fact, we may just be filled to the brim, with excitement, that is. Our threshold is 250 BBLs, to be more precise. That’s the total capacity of each new oak foeder at Bruery Terreux. One is dedicated exclusively to Frucht, our new series of fruited Berliner Weisse-style beers. Known for a tart flavor profile and traditionally low ABV, our new German-style wheat beer gains even more funky notes and natural earthy-woodiness from its fermentation in the large oak foeder vessel. ABV: 4.3%

Two traditions are brought together here in a unique complacency, namely an original succulence never tempted before. The result is sublime, liberating a graceful taste tinted by a controlled acidity on the lambic confused with the dry fruity of the pumpkin and the discreet sugar added. By crossing the middle of the mouth appears a taste of brown sugar remembering and accentuating the convivial touch of Halloween. ABV: 4.0%

Sour meets sweet in this puckish summer wheat. Scratch Raspberry Gose, born as an antidote to hot and hazy East Coast summers, is a friendly tug-of-war between ruby red raspberries and the benevolent bacteria lactobacillus. Prickly and floral, tangy with a touch of salt, this beer is your ticket to an endless summer. Just be home by dark. ABV: 5.4%

WILD ELF: 12/12 cases

Wild Elf grows from deep roots, courtesy of our oak foeders and pure local flavor derived from wild yeast that rode into the brewery on the back of PA-harvested Balaton cherries. Based on the Mad Elf recipe, Wild Elf goes through a long secondary fermentation in wood barrels, unveiling tart cherry pit and farmhouse bliss. This bottle-conditioned limited release is highly carbonated and comes to life when the cork pops. ABV: 11.0%

WIT: 4/6C cases

Coriander, orange peel, grains of paradise and star anise give a light spiciness to the aroma. This refreshingly crisp wheat ale finishes with just a hint of tartness. Wit is ready to be enjoyed throughout spring and early summer! ABV: 4.6%
